Austin + Sammy- I just want to send a special “Thank You!” for allowing {ewp} to be a part of your special day! Dan and I had such a great time getting to know the both of you and your bridal party. From the moment we walked in and Hannah Montana was blaring while the girls put the finishing touches of make up on to the touching moments at dinner, when Best Man, Alex, shared sentimental stories with you- it was an honor to be a part of your day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, for a more cooperative group (or silly one, for that matter!)
Sammy, your details in your wardrobe choices were so intricate. A simple, lace dress that was ordained with a diamond belt, bracelet, teardrop earrings and a gentle smile. One of my favorite moments on wedding days is when the Bride finally sees herself, a sigh of relief, a twirl of a skirt, a final smirk when she realizes that this is the dress she chose to walk down to meet her groom in. The moment that a bride sees her real, true beauty- it’s something that I look forward to capturing.
We loved the emphasis of Christ throughout your entire ceremony- the scriptures that were hand picked out and read by your dearest family members, the prayers from your pastor and grandfather, even the songs that were chosen were a reflection of God’s love for you and your marriage. We were blessed.
Joining you at the Bavarian Inn to celebrate memories of your childhood and to commemorate new memories that the Dawsons will create together, was such a joy. My own family has spent many winters and spring breaks within those walls, sliding down the same slide, running through the putt-putt course just like you and your party did on Friday. It was so fun to see the joy that the Inn has brought to others, too!
While there was an uproar of wind through the ceremony, I can’t say much else than how perfect your day was. The Maids of Honor both kept their smiles throughout the ceremony, the groomsmen were full of laughs and support for Austin-even if they lovingly poked fun during pictures, but hey, that’s what they’re there for right? A family who came with an outpouring of love for the celebration of your marriage. Your wedding day was beautiful and we are so grateful to have been able to spend the day with you.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Dawson!
